The Friends of the Floral Park Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting and promoting the Floral Park Public Library. We have been supporting the library’s mission for over 75 years.
Volunteering
Our members give their time to staff The Book Nook, sort book donations, provide event organization and support, and more! We are open to all levels of talents and skillsets.
Fundraising
In addition to membership, we raise funds through our frequent gift basket raffles, book sales, seasonal lawn sales, and other community events.
The Book Nook
Located in the lower level of the library, The Book Nook has used books for sale and is a cornerstone of our fundraising efforts. Please call for hours to the Book Nook before coming in.
Meeting
Our general meeting takes place the second Wednesday of every-other month at 1:00 PM. Meeting dates can be found on the Floral Park Library’s calendar.
