The Floral Park Public Library issues library cards free to the residents of the Incorporated
Village of Floral Park. These cards allow full access to Floral Park Library resources and entitle
patrons to direct access privileges at other libraries within the Nassau Library System in
accordance with the borrowing policies of each individual library.
Adults (age 18 or over) must apply in person and provide photo ID (valid driver’s license, NYS
non-driver ID) with a current Incorporated Village of Floral Park residential address.
Renewals must made in person by the cardholder. Exceptions will be made for Homebound
Patrons; please speak with Circulation staff for details.
The Library also issues Courtesy Cards for those who own a business within the Incorporated
Village of Floral Park. Please speak with Circulation staff for details.
How to Get a Library Card
Residents of Floral Park Village can apply for a library card at the Circulation Desk.
- You will need to provide photo ID (valid driver’s license, NYS non-driver ID) with a current
Incorporated Village of Floral Park residential address.
OR, if photo ID is not available, you will need to provide 2 recent proofs of address, which may
include: - Lease, rental agreement or mortgage papers
- bank statement
- school ID card
- phone, credit card or other utility bills
